Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler has a similar fashion to The Cinema Snob, but she's more prone to morbidly enjoying dumb action flicks. After getting some attention through the channels on Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa) and began her write reviews in late 2009. Beginning in early 2015 she was on the website when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed into Movie Nights. She has two podcasts co-hosted as well as a show that covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The shows she appeared during Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of awful films for kids or RiffTrax, but also the odd adult comedy. She began reviewing films late in 2009. Following her rise to fame on the Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to be part of the reviewing community. She's appeared on a variety of Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would frequently be featured in shows like Nostalgia Critic.
